Welcome to Mountain Lamp
The Mountain Lamp Community is a place of refuge for those wishing to live in mindfulness and peace. Located in beautiful Deming Washington, our retreat center offers practice in both the tradition of Robert Aitken Roshi and Thich Nhat Hanh.

Diamond Sutra Retreat – Led by Jack Duffy and Eileen Kiera May 5 – 26 Mountain Lamp is pleased to offer a three week study retreat on the Diamond Sutra. The retreat will be co-led by Jack and Eileen. We invite friends to come for a weekend, a week or two or three. Please note, the Order of Interbeing weekend, May 18th – 20th, will be part of the retreat. See Poster/Registration Form for details.
Zen Weekend at Mountain Lamp during May retreat May 11- 13 This portion of the Diamond Sutra retreat will be led by Jack and will include more sitting meditation, teisho from Jack and dokusan. Registration for this weekend is still open. (starts 5pm Friday, ends 4pm Sunday) $125 (10% off for campers, 5% off for Circle of Friends)
Order of Interbeing Weekend May 18 - 20 Please join us for a weekend of practice and celebration as we join together to focus on the fourteen mindfulness trainings. All are welcome. See Poster/Registration Form for details.
Day of Mindfulness with Sisters Khanh Nghiem and Sister Kinh Nghiem from Deer Park Monastery June 2 10am-4pm $25 for the day (increased cost from usual DOM due to transportation costs for the sisters) Please join us for a beautiful day led by our dear sisters from Deer Park.
